Greg Rubano, long time educator and author, discusses one of his favorite topics–Charles Albert Bender. Bender, often referred to as ‘Chief’, was a Hall of Fame Pitcher who was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame. Special emphasis will be placed on the hurlers Native American Heritage as well as how he endured racism, yet still became a great athlete and beloved figure.
