Wendy Bowen, a former teacher and administrator for the Newtown CT School System, explains how the tragic shooting deaths of 20 students and 6 faculty members at the district's Sandy Hook Elementary School served as an impetus to help educate others regarding preventing gun violence. She presently serves as a volunteer for the Rhode Island Coalition Against Gun Violence.
